Porsche VIN Stickers
Curious if this is common...I can read all the VIN stickers on my car (front, rear, doors, rear hatch, hood...) except those on my two front quarter panels.
Is that normal for the number to fade off (1987 928S4) or is it more likely they aren't original panels to the car? They are the two most susceptible to the elements I suppose, and water runoff.
Both have the Porsche sticker, but neither has a number that is legible.

Mine are also worn on these two panels only. I've seen a few other 928's with these stickers worn.
Maybe due to detailing the engine bay with some harsher chemicals?
