Imagine what it'd be like to be tripping on LSD while watching Moulin Rouge and staring at these seats intermittently...

Steve, I am fascinated by your seats. Are you sure that you have teal & gray? Your seats look very very similar to mine, but mine are black/blue, with the black faded to a greenish tinge (teal?) and the blue faded to gray. Yet in places where the sun don't shine, you can see the original black/blue. Much like yours look on the lower portion of the rear seat in the photo. I'm thinking yours is severely faded black/blue as well....

Yes, that's possible. I was going to say teal/blue. But could be faded black/blue.

Why would a businessman give away his source of income?

Is it enough to make a skirt out of it?

I already have the black and white style skirt and the matching scarf. I also have a scarf to match the material you show there....

OK I guess I'd have to come up with something else to keep it interesting. How about a nice handbag to go along with my brown/beige scarf?

I got it from the UK.
It's navy blue/beige in color and I have enough to do 2 complete sets of seats.

One set is going in my car.

I'll be able to tell what accessories can be made after the seats are done and we see what we have left. I know they'll be enough for a scarf or two.

I have a line on getting the original pasha material remade.

It will take a combined order of 200 meters at about $80.00 per meter. I say "about" because import duty and shipping have yet to be calculated.
That's one color, in bulk, uncut and untailored.

Since the mill has done this fabric before, there would be no concern for design copyrights but since it's been 20 years since it was done, there may be ISO certifications for automotive use that need to be addressed.

I expect it will run between 90- 100 per meter when its all said and done since it would have to be shipped, split up and reshipped. Lead time will be about 2-3 months.

4 meters will be enough to do front and rear seats and door inserts.

So if we get 50 orders and collect $400 for each, it can be done.

I'm in. I am assuming you mean black & white. I would prefer black & blue, but I'll take black & white if that's the only option.

Thanks for doing this, Rob. Is it the original manufacturer?
