Anyone have a set of window louvers?

I'd never seen them but always wondered how they'd look on a 928 with the wiper deleted. Saw a 1/24 scale model kit on ebay today that looked pretty cool - so I figured I'd ask if there are any real Sharks with a set of these.

A few years ago someone posted pics here of louvers they had custom installed on their 928.

Karma intervened and he died in a fiery crash.

 

I thought they looked good on the late 60's & early 70's fastback Mustangs.

So Randy, (not saying I would) but are you saying I run the risk of death if I was to install them?

Just asking a question really - don't have any plans to do just wondered what they'd look like on the real thing.

 

Somebody custom installed a set last year. At first they were to high to clear the wiper and looked funky. After he lowered them closer to the window, they looked okay.
