Default Snow blizzard on summer tires...

The roads has been snow free for a few weeks here now so I've been using the 928 for a while, but when I was at our workshop today, doing some work on my 924, it suddenly started to snow like mad again.

So I had to take the 928 on wide summer wheels for a 20 mile drive home on snow covered roads... Not recomended, but I taking it easy got me and the car home in one pice.

The good thing is that I got confirmed that both the LSD and ABS works

That sounds a bit scary to me... Glad you made it.

It's sunny, blue sky and about 20 Degrees Celsius out here. Maybe I should go for a drive...

LOL! Garage and house are full.

But there are a few units for sale here in the neighborhood. One is fully furnished - 1500 sqft town home, $565k. Get that bargain now!!!

well done
I got caught with some late or early snow storms in earlier years with my 928 on summer tires. Only problem was i have no abs so stopping was not an available option.

Yes, we were fortunate to get som more late season snow, barely got it out a couple of days before santa arrived with my delayed christmas present.

So the shark stays in its home until the snow melts away from the roads, then it wants to join me on skiing trips up in the mountains this spring.

Wide tires and snow is not a good combination.. almost as smart as driving a SUV .. but, if you are stuck then you have no choice.
