I think it looks very nicely integrated. Who makes this piece? And how are the electrics connected for the brake light? Do you have to drill holes? (I'm hole-phobic).

I don't think this is an area where the spoiler can have much effect on lift. But it's hard to tell what it would do to the drag coefficient.

Overall, I like it, as I do like your shark in general (no side moldings, GTS wheels, and an oval exhaust tip that follows the cut-out in the rear bumper cover...). GTS mirrors would be nice on this car.

2 things come to mind when I look at the pics in the first post:

1) Good you can get rid of the 3rd brake light that came with the car
2) How are you going to clean the window underneath that thing? And the underside of the new spoiler itself?

A friend of mine has one of those that has ben molded into the hatch. He says that it should be installed in a way that is removeable.

I like the look of it Ken. I just wish you hadn't liked it so you could have sent it to me with the rest of your body kit.

My vote is to install it.

The best aftermarket kit imo(jacquemond) , for reference; it actually looks the same.

The blacked out tail lights would look cool on a white car.

I like it; I had to look twice to see it; no rice!

I don't agree with this statement. A good example is a set of wheels for a street car since they will not appreciably improve the handling of a street car, especially so for a 928 since most aftermarket wheels installed onto a 928 have incorrect offsets, negatively impacting handling. In nearly every case, those aftermarket wheels will not be considered rice.

It's less like rice and more like tofu.

I'd say it is functional, but not as a "spoiler". More like a sun visor. Toyota did the same thing with their 2nd gen. Supras (82-86) and did not claim to be spoilers, but sun visors.
