i saw a guy yesterday, with a 95 supra, funny enough.
i was goin to write about it today.
anyway, he's got a custom-turbo set-up and claims 1100RHP (!) and runs 30lbs (!) of boost.
i was super surprised ,when i heard that. what have we been talking bout boosting our porsches? 11lbs?

With a proper engine management system, high compression and boost go together very well. It's not uncommon in the Supra world to run high compression with double digit boost numbers.

Now that we have the Shark Tuner, there are a few 928 owners playing with stock compression and higher boost numbers. So far so good

Does it belong in this thread? Not really, interesting either way. What are the dimentions of that motor? With the Autronic system Todd is using dropping this mill into a 928 is not that far fetched. Assuming it would fit.

NZ - with a thread like this you are supposed to say "This is a test mule before I drop this engine into a 928"

12,000 posts and not a member??? WTH?

EDIT - oh wait, now I remember the name NZ. When did they let you back in here?

The new hot setup is to mount the turbos at the back of the car. The exhaust gasses are cooler by the time they get there so it's like having intercooled exhaust! With the superior weight distribution it's a win-win!

Here are some cats I'd like to use for my next build:

Hey guys,

I've been thinking of doing the Nose Route on El Capitan within the next year or so. Are there any climbers out there with experience climbing in Yosemite valley? Specifically I am looking for someone that can guide my fat, out of shape *** up the route and do most of the lead climbing for a modest fee.

PM me if you are serious about needing a lead climber. I know a guy in CA who is in the book for many 1st ascents at El Cap and plenty of others as well.

Please find yourself a Supra forum out there. Do not return here unless it's to discuss 928-specific stuff.

Now that you're on our radar, I'll run down some of your other (12,000+ !) posts to ensure you aren't hijacking other forums as well.

Thanks.
