By the way, regarding the Corvette a$$. One day I was behind Sebastian and his '91 GT when he pulled up beside a new Corvette. I can attest that the Corvette a$$ looks huge when next to the nice, curvy 928 rear end.

Thanks Constantine!

Yes, the Vet was pretty stout. i think, it has near 390rwhp from what the owner was telling me. he has headers, the cams, some of the other go fast goodies on a Zo6. The owner is starting to drive the car pretty hard, so its tough to get around him, even with 2 second better lap time. he was driving wide and braking late, then pulling away on the straights. following it, gave me a small case of wing envy. that thing was huge!

928 OC California chapter. I like the sound of it!

Yep, it would be nice to get a good set of tires for you to race on. I'm sure the California 928 OC chapter might be able to help you out a bit like the 928 OC Florida chapter does for it's 928 racers. How about it 928 OC California chapter?

Cheers,
Constantine

Thanks, I brought my big guns to the track this time. I usually use them
for my nature photography. Here is a closer crop of Mark going by while
I was at the top of the bleachers in turn 9. When I was racing motorcycles
here, I'd be doing 100+ mph in this turn, don't know what Mark was doing.

im loading the side line videos of the opening laps on Youtube as well as the incar footage if anyone is interested. the slide is kind of interesting. what a waste! we all had almost the exact same times. who ever was in front was going to win. those 335s are in the garbage!! 305s from World Challenge '04 are on the car now!! (like my practice tires that consistantly give me my best times. you think i would learn!!)
