Kaaaching! $$$$$ nice buy!

The heat couldn't have been that bad, the heater vavle is still in once piece! Just from those few pics, there a ton of good sellable parts. Look, the cabin temp sensor is not cracked and the leather centre console looks good too. These two parts, the steering wheel and the passanger door panel will make you break even!
Some people just don't see a deal even if its staring right at them.

Well, this is my first foray into buying and parting out a car. I now have two 86.5 cars to part out. The other one is my ex 86.5 with a black leather interior and all sorts of neat suspension goodies.

That's true but if someone was planning to rebuild or fix it, then it really isn't that much different. They both require time and parting a car out is much easier than taking it apart, then putting it back together properly. When you are parting, parts that don't matter can be just cut, torched, snapped, twisted off, etc. bacause it doesn't matter!
