I always put a straight edge on the flex plate and make sure that it is flat before tightening. They tend to not change as quickly if the plate is flat.

With our new clamp one follows the procedures in the Porsche manuals for tightening the clamp after making sure the crankshaft is leveraged back toward the transmission. Our clamp freezes it in place and there is no more movement, even when it was tested in race like conditons on the track.

It is really a nice part, well made and there is no way it is going to move if installed correctly.
Far cheaper than a TBF.
