talking about predicament.
i bought this 81(5 shift, no sunroof) with fresh engine installed back in 99.
the plan was to part her. i wanted to make a bit of money, in order to get some goodies for my gold 928.
turns out that that 81 is in better shape than mine (1983 928s).
she is supposed to have only a 4.5l but she's whickedly fast. faster than the gold one...(!)
it got a LSD and sport pack1.
i am supposed to sell one, but i like em both.
i think i eat some drywall for a while and then get a turbo for one and a supercharger for the other and then see what really is better.

I did the same f&^*ckin thing with that 84 I bought a while ago. Sit back, keep a few buyers in mind for both your cars. When the right new car comes along that you can sell your two and get the nice new one for = money, JUMP ON IT LIKE YOU WOULD one of the chics that live with Heff.

Michael, I might screw myself out of a headliner and a front spoiler, but I'd say hold on to it...two is always better than one :-P
Helps a lot during troubleshooting too, as you can swap parts back and forth...hehehehe...and then again, you dont really need a headliner or a spoiler to drive that car, right??? :-P (JUST KIDDING!)

Nuts? Who is nuts? People who persistently throughout their lives ignore their passions. Then look back on their life and moan and groan about what they missed. If what they say is true, (and I'm not convinced it is), you'll have millions of years to be so prudent and certainly austere. Keep 'em both. They aren't making any more 928s. Now if someone can tell me where to find some kids with some lunch money to take, I know where to find another cherry '86.5 ..........for a reasonable price.....which of course I say I can't afford. Hmmm...................No I won't tell you where it is. I want it. To have His and Hers also. Great idea. What a trip!!

That's very good advice, even beyond those of us who just bought a 2nd 928 .
