Ed,
I wouldn't say that....mine hasn't started SINCE Justin started it. But, it did start on the first crank. After I replaced the window fuse, it appears that most everything works, and I mean everything.
Roger and I started the black 82 the other day, and it has sat for two years. First crank!!!
I went ahead and put my name on it, just wating for the Rev Limiter to give me the OK.

Ed,
I misread what you last posted. The words Justin, work, and miracle all in the same sentence threw me off. Sorry to hear about your 9-1-1.
Yep, it's 9($) 1($) 1($) for my 911. Get her home tomorrow, then the engine comes out next Saturday, then the teardown, and the tally. If my pistons and cylinders are OK, and the heads aren't broken, I'll be over $4K in parts and machining. But, it should have a few more ponies when I'm done....
Well really, Justin is always a lot of help when he comes up to the house. He is always amazed that I get anything done at all because of my propensity to drop things (ie. tools, bolts, washers, parts, etc.) If I'm in one my "drop" modes, he'll roll his eyes, say a few choice words that cannot be reproduced on this forum, and say something like"Get the Hell out of the way".
He might, just might, come to the GTG Saturday. If so, he could come lay hands on your 911 before you begin the teardown.
But then again, what about those extra ponies you're planning? Can't disappoint them now can we?
