was looking at some of the cars for sale lately and I've really noticed that rarely are the option codes used to juice up the ad, other than "RARE 5spd, spoilers etc"

then I looked at my cars...
the '85 I just sold had 6 options, my S4 has 15!!

so who else has high option cars?

According to Ebay, mine is very rare. It's an '85 5 speed with the rare 'sunroof' option.


The list I got when I called Porsche was pretty generic:
490 Hi fi sound system
650 Sunroof
158 Radio 'Monterey'
533 Alarm system
481 5 spd manual trans
418 Protective side moldings
319 Changed Step- up of Fan- Japan, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Australia
494 Amplifier system

Hmm, 7 codes, 3 of which are for the radio, which I'm sure was pretty much stock and isn't there anyway since the break-in. One other one for the alarm system (see previous line for how effective this was).

Not so much going on here.

I believe Tom Falkenberg has one with 36 or 39 options!
