thx jim, always looking for an adventure will have to ck out a few events if I can keep the old gal running/ get dr brown to put my brendanitis into remission, ha! just....need...one.... more....tweak...

oops - hey brendan you do have a point, track and street are definitely mutually exclusive at the extremes... kinda how I ended up just doing AX w/minor mods so I can still use it for social stuff w/out too much fuss. for a pure track car, I'd be tempted to just drink the coolaid and get a 911 something/Rxx - 2000lbs, 300-500rwhp and that goofy wt distribution are track junkie nirvana. cool trans options/lot$ of very cool HP part$ available too.

imho, most sharktoberfesters are not racers/just enjoy basking in the sun w/a well stocked 928 parts store handy & enjoying the company/socializing in a relaxed environment. add randy's bar and it's another type of nirvana or nasty hangover....

I can't sit still that long. I think larger AX can still be fun, but track time is much better value for money, IMO.

When is Shorktoberfest this year? Maybe a few of the PacNW guys can justify the trip if we find a race or two along the way...

thats why the festival of speed is so cool - 3 days of all types of racing, concours, etc.. something for everyone... and if you just help a bit - free admin and tshirt, pit access, etc, etc

iirc, the PCA porsche parade is in San Diego this year too - it's a full week of pcar worship, some light racing & lots of social/fun events... usually sells out the 1st day.

gotta love socal this year if ya like pcar events. sorry keith, stop snowing & raining up there yet? hehehe
