I have both of my cars covered by Grundy. Do they have a good reputation? Which insurance co. do you use?

Heard AIG has the best rates right now with einsurance a close second. Don't know how they will handle a claim but it doesn't matter if it isn't your fault - for your car anyway.

Already did, last year. After they started their BS with holding up the claim, I filed a suit directly againt the insured through small claims. Stories and attitudes changed overnight. Nationwide was taking care of it and was paying the claim til the out come of the other Insurance companies BS... But i just didnt have time to screw with it for months and months.. I just took matters into my own hands. whole claim settled in less than 14 days. If i would not have done it my way, Im sure nationwide would still be waiting on their money, and i would still be waiting on my deductible to be returned.

AMEN!! What dou you have when you have 10,000 lawyers/bankers buried up to their necks in dirt?

Not enough dirt.

(sorry to any lawyers/bankers here, nothing personal)

I've been with GIECO a long time. Best rates I could find. The least of all evils when it comes to service. Excellent discounts (no tickets, multiple cars, etc). I have had no complaints with them. Go talk to the gecko.

I'm an attorney and what is funny is that the first thing anyone asks me when they get pissed at work or into an accident - is can I sue - or is this a class action? So it quite funny to see these comments. We are no ones best friend until you come back running to mommy.

We all own sharks

You just happen to be a "Shark" in a Shark

Lawyers are needed when dealing with dishonest people.

Same thing with insurance. Nobody wants to pay for it, but at claim time, when they get paid or when someone else does instead of them having to, they are happy they did buy it.

Nobody ever thinks they paid too much for their insurance when the claim checks show up.

I've been with USAA for 22 (!) years for auto insurance, but I'll probably switch the 928 over to Hagerty when she turns 20 so I can get an agreed-value policy. I've never had to use my auto policy, but they handled a renter's insurance claim I had to make in Houston about 10 years ago without any hassle whatsoever. Oh, and it's nice getting USAA's policyholders' distribution back at the end of the year.

+1 for USAA. Had one claim with them on the wife's car and it went through without a hitch. And the other driver was arrested (possible DUI) at the scene of the accident. He had no insurance and was at fault.
