Anybody in Nor-Cal can come out to Thunderhill racetrack on April 23 and see Dennis Kao with his 290-300rwhp track/semi-street 928S4 on track with a 2006 Ferrari 430. I don't know anything about the 430 driver, but Dennis is very experienced at T-hill, and both are registered in the advanced group. Not a race, more like a DE day, but should be fun to watch! www.gotgutsatthunderhill.com

This is just another in a long list of reasons to not use the brakes and the steering wheel at the same time, right? Or is it a 'gentle squeeze to settle and load the front suspension as you enter the corner, set up for a late apex and gently add throttle' that makes a 928 go around the fastest? My last racecar was wider than it was long, and drifting just scrubbed off speed. With less than 1 liter displacement I didn't want to do that too often.

I have run 12.90s at bandimere Alt 60000 ft in denver with my supercharged 89 gt . this is where 02 z06s run 13.6s and gen 2 vipers run 13.4s. I honestly doubt that a f 430 will touch these numbers. I have read all the mags but tout 11s in the f430 but I doubt that trhe f430 would be faster than mid 13s up here. Just my 2 cents

hey guys, this thread is not about if a 300k Ferrari is not up to par on the track to a 16 year old 928. but it is kinda cool that you can give one of the latest supercars a run for their money by bolting on a 5k superchatger kit. And then again is not some kit that'll blow up in a couple of miles, but it transforms the OB in a car that can hold up to a lambo or a ferrari on the highway. It will not proof that without gutting weight and improving brakes it could compete on any track. but it is still cool to run just along side with one of these cars and lookat the driver through the side winbdow...
