You'll probably have to live with some pictures later. Not sure how many I'll take at the banquet, as I hope to meet some interesting people there and ask them as many questions as possible... Maybe my heroes Lapine and Möbius will be there.... if they are, don't expect me to have much of an eye for anybody else...

Well I hope to be attending driving over from the UK in my 928 ,625 miles + ferry = Ŗ275 ($550) just to get there & back , I haven't booked as I cant commit at present due to being broke , I hope they would accept a late booking near the date for the banquet (I would probably stay at a cheap hotel nearby to keep the costs down).
The route there takes me within 20 miles of the Nurburgring , i know the 928 couldn't pass that close & not visit without complaining so I would include that on the way down or on the way back (or both )
Any Rennlisters want a lift ?
I hope to see Nicole , Roger & F4GIB there.

A bit of info about where the meet/ Hotel is as it has a Porsche connection in that the road outside Hotel was part of the Solitude Race track , the 'Stuttgart Nurburgring', a 7 mile course that Porsche used as a test track up till its close in 1965.
Info at http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/tracks/solitude.html
The race track marked, the hotel is bottom right by the S bend , Porsche is top right in pic. by the North on the compass

That would be great , I would expect a few more from the UK as well, Alex, Nick , Matt Joe etc. seeing as it can include the 'ring & possibly a factory tour(which I've not done before) & to meet some of the designers which is a must not miss event really.

P.S. There's enough of us around to help/make sure you get your car finished in time , so there's NO excuse !

I never sign up for any email notifications. I already get lots of mail - no need to increase it.
Don't worry about me going cold turkey while traveling. You probably suffer more during the winter months...
But I sure would love to let a shark lose on an unlimited stretch of Autobahn. Unfortunately, there is no such thing in the vincity of the event. At least not anymore...
