Usually, when there is someone who one person will vouch for, and another person, seemingly no different, states their hate and distrust, the reason is that the person in the middle has changed drastically and very quickly from good to bad, almost overnight.

I got burned badly by an ex-Rennlister before. It was amazing how many people stuck up for him even after it was obvious who/what he was. I wish someone had posted their bad experience with the guy before I got involved with him. It would have saved me a lot of money.

Mark (Tampa928s) you are a scumbag, you beg for a free part and when it doesn't come you are ready to jump on this guys back. For a whole $7, couldn't you have just written this off, or is this amount of money effecting you? I just spoke with John and he has had quite a few issues to deal with, more than you could certainly deal with given you had to bad mouth him for $7!!! Given the way John packs his parts it would cost him seven bucks just to process it.

He advises me, that you should feel free to contact any of the other Rennlist vendors for your free parts so how you go there, no wonder you not a member here, your too cheap. You disgust me and if I still had my 928 I would be ashamed to drive the same car you do.

I just found this part especially funny, coming from another non-member. That's all.

Its a shame all sharks don't get to have P.A.O. (previous auto's owned) inspections done on their prospective owners before they are allowed to own and care for this rare species!

He was a paying Rennlist member. So let me see if I understand this right Mark .... you asked Doz fora free part, and he asked you for 7 bucks for shipping, which you sent? Please reply, is this right? Because if so, I cannpt believe you're causing this massive thing over 7 bucks. Yes it's your money but a FREE part is a FREE part man. I often wait months before shipping people things, I HATE the whole packing/shipping thing.

Regarding John Dozbush:

He is weird, yes. But I can tell you, he has been very helpful to me in the past. We've traded and sold each other parts, and I have never had an issue EXCEPT the time to ship. But, that is a problem for me too, I am too busy to go dig my wreck out from under snow to pull a 1-dollar part to ship someone. And free ... well, you're gonna wait.

Sometimes people feel there is principle in something no matter what the monetary amount.

There was a "guy" in SoCal several years ago that was similar in that he garnished "believers" with free parts while he screwed others. Many called it early, and some hung on until the end, since they were getting free stuff.

Here's an opposite for you all.

Normy sent me a free part if I paid shipping. I tried on several occations to pay for the shipping and Normy sent me his paypal address. After several attempt to pay it, I think he gave up. I still feel bad about it but it does't seem to matter to him. After all, it was only $7.00 too.

I got the part from him, he didn't get the $$ from me, and it would seem I'm going to just pay it forward some time in the future.

This thread is Frigg’n hilarious! I especially like where the non-member is calling another non-member cheap...that's priceless!

Who do I make the $7 dollar check out too!!! I feel I’ve gotten that much in entertainment value but wait…I’ve lost about 5 minutes of my life I’ll never get back re-reading this thread so lets see…someone owes me about…5 minutes of life I’ll never get back so lets say $10 dollars a minute which equals $50 bucks minus the $7 dollars so…hmmm…someone owes me about $43 bucks!

I take paypal!
