These are forged, one piece and under 20 lbs for an 18"x10" size.
CCW in FL makes them. They are new and not on their web site yet. Available finishes are brushed clear anodized, black anodized or polished.
$2600 for a set of 18" with custom offsets for the 9-2-8.
I'm getting 9.5x18 et68 fronts and 10x18 et52 rears, and having the wheels made to accept the S4 center caps.

Carl,
Very nice - can you photoshop them on the car?

Roger, I can't photoshop.
The wheels are made by CCW in FL, not in faChina. It is a really good price for 18" wheels.
There are so many factors when considering new wheels for the 928.
1. price
2. 997 or Cayman wheels are out there and will fit: not the optimum sizes and the castings are heavy.
3. Replica Porsche wheels: the price is right, but still heavy and the front selection is limited to 8" et57 or possibly 10"et65 with heavy alignment to fit (and still may rub).
4. Fikse in 18" from DR are about $3300 or so, but obviously are awesome wheels. Those are the standard. The 17" are 2600 or 2700.
5. I am still not sold on 19" for 928s as the diameter goes up too high. And cast oem 19" are pretty heavy too. 19" tires are more $$$ than 18".

For that price with those offsets, I love'em!!!!
I would prefer an 11" rear for the track. Is that an option that you know of?
EDIT - Looking at their web site, they offer some pretty nice wheels around this price. I'll see if their 5-spoke model is available in those offsets.

I bet they will look good as far as the 10 spokes go, that is a very good look on the 928.
The only concern I'd have is the "squareness" of the spokes and center. BTW, on the subject of the center, what goes there? The 928 has soft lines, I'm wondering how the abrupt look of these wheels will fit in. The thing about Porsche factory wheels, is that they tend to have rounded edges, graceful lines and such that work well with the smooth flow of Porsche bodies.
Edit: I see the center cap now....I'm not sure I the hollow look there.

Andrew: thats unreal!!! Too funny. I owe you a beer at sharks.
Ed: I know it doesn't look too original; originality is always a high priority. That's one reason I like my cup 993 wheels as they did come on the late GTSs.

I just talked to them about the wheels. It looks like this might be the holy grail of wheel sources. The forging is done in the US, they start with a big chunk from the forging company and finish machine them to width and offset. They can go 11"! I asked about a 9.5 and 11 set with the odd 73mm offset up front and they can do it, the forging has enough meat at the face. They go by backspacing so an 8" BS would be what to specify. 2 week lead time.
Thanks 928andRC51, this is a good find.
BTW, in the sizes I asked about, there may not be room for center caps but who cares!

I was just going to show up with the new shoes at SITM, but this is good 928 info. I don't have the wheels yet, maybe a week. When I get them I'll post some pics and get accurate weights.
