Default Took the plunge.... guess I'll have to join!

Drove down to South Carolina yesterday and bought an 85 with a 5-spd. 79K miles, Blue with blue and tan leather.

I guess it has the standard 20 year old ailments - non-op water valve and inop AC, couple ***** missing, deteriorated or non-existant shifter front rod end bushing (pretty sloppy), dirty as the feed store parking lot I bought it from, needs paint buffed and touched up.....

But everything else is there right down to the jack and tool kit and wheel lock key. The fellow also gave me a new carpet kit, new brake pads and rotors for two wheels, four extra wheels, and the original key fob pouch.

I offered $3500... He pointed out the 3K mile new Yoko tires and we settled on 4K.

It's got a couple dings, and as I said, it's filthy, but I'm happy. I have pics but will have to post when I get my membership.

Thanks everyone. Just reading through the owner's manual and what do I find... A receipt from several months ago.... the PO's last oil change.... Mobil 1 10W-30... I knew the oil was clean when I checked it... nice to know it's high-dollar too. He really did care.... lol

It's been sitting in the driveway in the same spot since last night..... no drips.... should I be concerned.

Welcome to the gong show Brad. Almost anything and everything is here for the asking.

Now you'll have a tough time hiding the keys.
