I don't really plan to leave Rennlist. I am rather addicted to this place. So I'll continue to poke my nose in here and on OT.
Like the Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.

Just watch, in no time you'll be programming and bookmarking AutoTrader and eBay 928 searches. Then one day, THE CAR will come up for sale, and you'll be back in the fold. Ask me how I know...

I don't think so.

1. Unless there's rule that you gotta currently own a P-car to post!

2. It hasn't sold yet! And, who knows, maybe it won't.

3. You guys are way too entertaining. So I plan to hang around unless I get voted off the island.

Bigs

I am sorry to hear the news. Perhaps you could be happy with an S4 and still pocket some cash?
I am glad we haven't heard the last from you.

I have personally seen this car and can confirm that it is awesome looking and sounding, and in great condition. It also has been taken care of by a very compentent garage. If I was looking for a GTS in this color combo and price range, I'd jump on this one without hesitation.

Bigs, did you consider selling the A6?

You would be missed but it's good to hear you'll still hang around even if you do carry out this blasphemy.

The trouble is: Once you sell a nice GTS, that's it. The end of the climax of motoring. Values of good GTS models are climbing, and replacing it would become more and more expensive, or possibly unaffordable.

Unfortunately, 928 ownership is like an addiction. Once you sell and go cold turkey, it really really hurts. And it might never stop hurting. The temptation will always be there.
