Like guys in Black 928’s...

Some of you might remember the little run-in I had with a detective in an unmarked car a couple of weeks ago. Who got on his radio and called in a local Sheriff cruiser to pull me over so he could have a little heart to heart with me about my inappropriate driving (yes I was in the wrong). Anyway to the point – as mentioned in the original post, the uniformed deputy actually a pretty cute female officer. But at the time that was the farthest thing from my mind while the detective chewed my **** out.

Anyway fast forward – today marks third time I’ve seen the same female deputy in the past few days and she’s actually made eye contact with me. So this afternoon she pulled up right behind me and when I looked up she was smiling and just as the light turned green I gave her a friendly wave as she passed on my right side. As strange as this sounds – she actually waved back. Now I’ve been out of circulation (ie Single) for a long time now, but I never imagined or envisioned flirting would manifest itself in this way.

Granted we’ve never actually talked other than that one meeting, but there’s something kind of “Freaky Friday” about lady cop in a black & white “acknowledging” a guy in a Black Shark other than to give him a citation for some sort of moving violation. What’s next – Sheep sleeping with Lions, Pigs flying?

Not looking for anything just thought it was a funny follow up to my first thread.

I get waves from all of the cops in my town. One of them stops all of the time when I've got my garage open-he loves Porsches. It kind of makes me uneasy (from my old days) seeing a police car pulling up to the curb out front, and then having cops walk up to the house.

Not to say your gal isn't "after" you, but cops like cars too.

Truth is I work with lots of folks with badges & guns so perhaps its easier for me to see past the uniform even when getting pulled over.

True enough. That crossed my mind too. I mean it might just be the Beaufort T. Justice in her grinning & saying "I've got my eye on you, Bandit".

But it seems kind of rare for cops in this part of San Diego County to be that easy going given the shear volume of the population. I've seen other officers (Males & Females) in the area all the time and none have ever paid that close of attention to folks before.
