From the limited info that you provided I think you may be making too much of this. If not, you should at least get friendly with her, it could only help in the case you need to reduce or eliminate a ticket. Don't date her under any circumstances ( I know, your married) because women have a tendency to be crazy ( see astronaut w/ diapers). Women with the power to ruin your life are nothing to play with.

about a month ago I was crossing the Swiss/German border at a little used border crossing near Basel. There were 2 lady border guards there who stopped me,just said "very nice car" then waved me on.

That reminds me of the female cop who gave me a ticket at a speed trap. Firts thing that came out of her mouth was "nice car" before telling me I was speeding...lololol

I think we are typical men. A woman smiles at us or waves, and ''She wants me!''. When I got pulled over for 90 in a 55, It was a lady state trooper. She was very cute, and I was very cordial.
She very kindly wrote it down to 70. Could this be love ? Oddly enough, the more polite I am with the men, the worse they behave. I have gone off on two cops, and each one let me off with a warning. Don't try this at home folks. I still don't understand it.
