GREAT electrical draw diagnosis - I bought a Willhoit GTS!
I've read some of the threads dealing with Willhoit. It seems people are on both sides of the fence on the subject. I bought a 93 GTS from Michael which was a great experience as well as a stunning car. I just thought I'd offer my opinion if anyone is interested.

Jeez, all because you couldn't get the radio code entered? Two thumbs up! And before anyone else posts the cute little gif, this thread is worthless without pics!

The persons that I am familiar with that have purchased cars from Wilhoit have all been happy with their purchases. I do not recall anyone who complained about not being treated fairly The question in my mind is always, where does he get these low mileage cars

No, the battery issue is with the gts from Willhoit. We're talking about the same car here and the only 928 I've owned. I replaced the battery and all is well. Michael suggested that I put a trickle charger on it so the new bat doesn't go dead. He said that if it's a gts it will drain the battery. The cig lighter still doesn't work.
I'm off to the local Porsche dealer tomorrow to get the radio pulled and get the code. I don't have any keys and they were good enough to offer help.
Ah pics, the only pics I have are from Willhoit. I'll post them in a bit.
And by the Anthony, it was the dark grey 93 with 85,000 miles. The only one I could afford.

Very Nice!!!
Looks like it already has an RMB and are those Michelin PS2's? Great color. Haven't seen many GTS's in that color. Do you know the code by any chance? I am looking for that paint code to paint my Cup 1's for my C2.
When I received my car from Michael my lighter did not work either. I found that someone had switched the wires making the ash tray hot and grounding out the element. I reversed the wires and it worked fine. I also recommend a charge every 4-6 weeks if the car sits. They seem to drain the battery very slowly if you don't drive it. My car had 7 batteries since new. Not an issue but a problem when cars aren't driven continuously.
Best luck with it.

Congratulations! Great Color inside and out! You are experiencing usual PO issues. AS Anthony stated, you cigarette lighter is a matter of a ground and a hot wire. If you have the original owners manual, the radio code is in the backl. You may have already searched and it sounds like you have been down this road on anohter thread. Anyway, should be pretty easy to get it working again. The battery issue is because of the memory circuit the car needs to maintain. It is a small draw, but is a draw on the battery never the less, so you have to run it, trickle charge or just disconnect.
Happy motoring!

Anthony - the paint color listed in door jam is this...
22D 9 3
Slate Grey Metallic
Schiefer Metallic
Q9
The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport P52. That's it other than the size. They are just about shot though and I'm looking to replace them. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately it's not the original stereo and the TWO codes I do have are not the right ones. So it's off to the dealer.
All in all great advice. Keep it coming, everything is new to me with this car.
