My sightings have been few and far in between since Sharktoberfeast. I live in Bernardo Heights and I have not clocked many 928 miles in the past year. However, I was recently inspired after spying a 928 at a local auto cross event.

As for the "Garage Queens," I can neither confirm nor deny any allegations regarding their existence or presence in Rancho Bernardo. I don't think they are permitted by the Home Owners Association.

You are welcome to come to my possibly brewing "Brendan has all the parts and wants to put the car together" party. That way, any time I show up in the future, it will be with a 928.

Its actually closer than ever before. I just need to get the block back from motorworks.

Rob,

Was that you at Qualcomm? You own a black '88 you said is in the shop? If so, we met at said autox, I had the black '89 with mangled street tires Come down this weekend & I'll give you a ride... in the Miata. As an autox car, the 928 is a great GT!

Just name the day and time, I'll try to be there. This could be interesting.

Bill

That was me at the Q and I will see you auto cross Saturday. I wish I would have participated in this forum earlier as I have learned so much in just the past week about my car and I hope to learn a lot more. It is most unfortunate considering I have had my car for 7 years.

Is it safe to assume many of you will be participating in the Porsche Parade in July?
