Default no warning lights on dash

I'm still going through the little things on my '86 that aren't working and I'm now trying to figure out why I have no warning lights. None of them work (even when the key is turned to the point before I start the car). All the gauges work, but no lights. From what I can tell, I may need to check fuse 10 (from chart on 928 Specialists). Is that a good place to start?

Thanks,
Dave

Macreel, the rheostat (dash light, right?) is very dim. I can barely see the dash at night.

By the way, I love that 'copper' color 928!

I had the same problem with my '84 when I first got it. The central warning unit had been disconnected. I hope yours is that simple. If power and grounds are ok, possible poor connections or defective unit.

Will928... correction: I don't think the Warning lts. get dimmed by the rheostat.
That's for the white illumination and some ***** and accessories. Also, I
believe it's powered by fuse #44.

Are your grounds clean, under the dash?

thnx for the nice words re: copper color (it's officially 'kiln red' but you don't see many)

G'luck.

Dave, check fuse 10 -- it feeds all of the warning lights.

Thanks guys. I'll check fuse 10 (thanks SharkSkin) and the central warning unit for disconnect (thanks ZUES+). I'll also check fuse 44 (thanks Macreel) for the light in there.
