FYI, if you allow others to email you, and you respond to such an email, that person will get your email address. Not generally an issue for me, but if you are concerned about anonymity, that's the one thing I can think of that can leak any personal info via Rennlist -- and it's not actually via rennlist, but via your email account.

The rare occasions where I've received an email this way and I didn't want to give out my email address I either responded from my gmail account or responded via PM.

Anonymity???? What the...??? You're Doc Mirror!!! We all know that. Don't need to no nutin else. If you're from the South...you're OK. Wait....was Texas one of the original Confederate states? Oh...the graveyard by the Convention Center in Dallas means something. OK, Doc., you're gooder than a 'coon on a log.

For some reason, a lot of Tennesseean's high-tailed it out of Tennessee after the "Big War" and went to Texas. To keep from being harrassed by the carpetbaggers I guess. Doc, is you one of us'ens?

Does Dr. Bob pack a side arm? How big an ole boy is he?

I am sure that Dr. Bob almost certainly went in unarmed, and using a combination of unassailable logic and rapier wit, reclaimed the missing bits. Bob ain't a big guy, but he's a giant among shark owners.

Bob- still going to VCR in the AM? I'm contemplating a road trip.

Just jumped back into Rennlist after a couple days of vacation from it.

The parts were held by a couple guys operating their business out of a residence in an otherwise OK neighborhood. The rescue was not nearly as exciting as it might have been. I stopped by early in the week, they said they would hev the parts done the next day. I was delayed getting back by an extended meeting and then the rain, so didn't get there agin until Friday. The guy had the parts done, and packed for shipping. I recovered them, inspected them, and they are going to ship Monday from FedEx here if it isn't raining.

No muss, no fuss, didn't need do anything other than ask nicely. That method works better than threats most of the time, in my limited experience.
