I'm curious about the lettering on the ones that do have it, for trivia sake. I used to make lettering dies for Bosch that they use to stamp part numbers. Bosch uses a distintive German font and would specify it for the dies, even parts that were made here in the States. The Ebay picture shows a different, more common font and I'm surprised to see something like that on a Bosch part. The Ebay ad says the pumps are made in the Czech Republic, I find it hard to believe that they would have let the manufacturer use a different font and more surprised that a Czech company would not use the German one by default.

I finally received the new title to my '88 S4 today so I'm relieved that it's not hung up someplace. Still haven't received the code for the radio or the other missing parts that were promised. I guess I'll kiss them off. I'm too nice a guy I guess (a lot will not agree with this...dumb and nice are not the same).
Thanks for the warning on the Chinese Fuel Pump. I'd better get a good one before that's all that's available anymore. BTW, look at the Bosch boxes...anymore they subcontract parts to about everywhere but Borneo.

Call Bosch General Counsel. They'd love to know about this. We've been finding all kinds of knock offs of our braking products and ball joints on the market. Scary stuff, because the castings are identical! Tough to prove they aren't ours.
