Default door trim anchors

Having recently completed the inner door mechanism re and re, and attempting to re-install my door panel, i realize some of the plastic anchors or clips are missing/broken. I've been to most auto parts stores and despite buying various clips that look like they should work, either the door side hole is too big/small, or the panel hole is too big/small. Any help from some who have had the same problem or is it a matter of giving the boys at 928INT a call.
thanks

Check ebay they have been there every once in a while, or maybe one of the big 3. They must have them.

Default door panel clips

Do not buy them from ebay. they are not the correct ones and are junk. i made that mistake already. The cheapest/best place to get them is from 928 specialists. 928 Int. are higher priced.

I bought several of them at Dave & jeannies last year at SITM. They have plenty of the right ones for the right year. www.928gt.com

Jet,

You can get the Audi ones, can't remember the part #, but they are much cheaper, and identicle.
Mike here in the DFW club just bought some that worked really well and I think he got them something crazy like 40 for a couple bucks.

Wait for a response, it will save you $ !!

Last time i saw them on ebay they were more money than 928gt.com. I looked for these also for a while becasue i just didnt want to wait for shipping. I just ended up buying 20 of them form 928gt. I am sure 928intl has them too if they are your house of choice.

On my 83 they are an audi part, and the number is moulded on the back....with the vw-audi badges. I bought some from the dealer for a few $, but might be cheaper at a vw outlet.

I bought from 928 Intl and they supplied VW/Audi ones. I haven't used them yet.

Thanks all.....i'll drop into the nearest audi dealer.....spent 2 frustrating hours on the weekend trying to make generic clips work and just ended up making a mess of it.

I've always used glue, it worked for me. Most people say you need some sort of clip that isn't available anywhere. But I find just regular old glue does the job. YMMV.
