Default Dave Roberts - 928 Specialists RULE

You all know I recently (thanks IMO) bought a Jag Eaton Supercharger on ebay for pennies. It arrived (thanks Cobalt) and it's beautiful. So ... now, what to do. I need everything else that actually makes the sc work! Anyway i gave Dave Roberts a call and I was FLOORED by his generosity and openness and willingness to help me where he can. Soon I'll have some 928 Specialists parts and along with Dave's unselfish advice, this project is looking in great shape.

928 Specialists!!

Yes sir... but it had NOS! Looking forward to see you again this year.

I think there will be quite a few DR SCer cars this year. (well more than last year anyway!)

Andrew, I would love to come out for SITM, however:
1) no hotel room
2) no 928 while there
3) have to fly into some forsaken city far away and make my way to Banner Elk

Hman:

I traced the manifold and marked the drawing up with some comments and was getting ready to mail it to you. However, the work required to take the simple drawing and design and fabricate a new manifold would be daunting. So, I'm glad to hear you are getting parts from Dave, which I assume includes the manifold. I'll still send off the drawing, but I'm glad you have found a far better solution. The manifold is only the beginning (SC tensioner and brackets, injector grommets, 85-6 throttle body and FPR, SC inlet adapter, MAF adapter plate, crank pulley, SC pulley, manifold bolts, manifold gaskets, modified throttle linkage mount and cable system, etc.). Keep us posted. Oh, and have DR send you some new beefy rear tires too.

Bill on rear tyres I'm sure the 19x275 Pirellis I won at OCIC will help a little with traction

We are lucky to have Dave, Jeannie and 928 Specialists around. Dave has never been in it "just for the money." He's a 928 enthusiast who is always willing to help, free of charge.

Well, Ok, but even from a ghetto perpective, buying would be far cheaper than making in this case. Wait till you see the drawings and notes.
