Thumbs up Ordering Strosek side skirts from Germany, anyone want to jump on?

Going to be ordering a set of Strosek side skirts (with air inlets) in the coming weeks. $1100 USD (they gave me a "Porsche club discount").

Is there anyone interested in jumping on the order? May be able to significantly reduce shipping.

I have requested from Strosek if there is any special/promo 928 items, and the prices. I will post what they respond with.

Cheers,
Michael

That will look great Michael. I'm not a fan of their "squinty eye" headlights, but they have done some nice design on other parts of the car.

Those "techie" phone dial wheels do indeed look cool too.

I think the rear bummper is ..dual exhaust. Problem is, im sure it blends to the flared rear quarters and wouldnt fit a stock S4

These wheels sold on Ebay about 6-8 months ago and hardly anyone bid on them. It was a no reserve auction and they ended up going for around $500 for the set. There was a short thread here on Rennlist about it after the auction ended. Maybe you could find it. I believe the rims were made by OZ.

i have never been one for modded 928's but thats not too bad. I wonder what the skirts will look like though with nothing else from their line. That car has a killer stance though, great color and I too like the wheels.

Rick,

I don't know about the rear wing, but when Strosek gets back to me with the shipping on my skirts I can ask. You could ask them yourself if you want. Their prices are unfactored for what seems to be a standard discount. If you ask for a price for your "Porsche club" you should see a good number. I got my price response in a day. Strosek mentioned shipping as 2-3 weeks, but didn't say by who, or how much yet. Here is the link to their site...

STROSEK

BTW I have this wing on my car (love it). I got mine from Jaqumond. He calls it his "Aerodyne wing", but it is a straight copy of the Strosek wing. I'm not sure, however I thought I heard a roumor that Jaqumond worked for Strosek at some point? I think the normal Jaqumond price is around $1000, but I purchased it on special at about $500-$600. Sorry, I can't remember exactly how much. His shipping was good at $100. My wing did have a couple of fitment issues with it's proximity to the rear wiper, but it was fixed fairly easily at a good B-shop. Someone in the US was selling copies of this wing on ebay for $300-$4. I think he posts here?

Here is my wing...

Rick, you a Neuf? I'm a Townie.

Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,

How have you been doing?

Michael, I’m hoping to have the skirts, custom from cover, and suspension done for SITM.

I’m really impressed with the front bumper cover. It is looking far better then my initial drawings. I’ll send you a pic when I get further along.

Cheers,
Michael

Dude thats huge cabbage for a couple of side skirts. I would love to break a mold off em' as I would sell them for 2-300 a set. And thats still good money for me at that price......hmmmmm...deep in thought.

I'd love to have those front fenders and headlight kit, but I would probably throwup at the price if the little side skirts are $1100.

Kevin, coming from a design house the likes of Strosek, $1100 is cheap. Jaqumonds skirts are $250 more, inferior in style, and look to be installed by F-glassing them directly into the cars body.

The other thing Kevin is who else makes “REALLY NICE” skirts? Ones that make the unwashed think that they are factory? There is just nothing out there. I was working up a set, but abandoned the project. I was working up a crappy set of 944 skirts (AIR I think) and trying to put some nice 911 ends to them. I just can’t justify the time to end product.
