Because they are steel fenders and not aluminium like the normal ones.

The original topic is not 'missing', it was 'removed'.

I'm sure you and most everyone else knows why, Erkka...

Its obvious yes. Only confucing part for me was one email notification about message posted to that thread before thread was deleted. That made me think could have been shaynes instead of you deleted it. I'm not even sure if normal users can delete threads. In any case that was reason for starting this thread along with desire to know what exactly is Exclusive in that car.

Erkka - you've been around here long enough to know that a user cannot delete the entire thread of a topic they started. If a topic 'disappears' you can be sure that a mopderator has removed it.

Go ahead - try to 'remove' this thread that you started.

I know I should know but I wasn't sure. If you want to get rid of this thread (don't blame you if you do) too, talking about 8" fronts can obviously be taken elsewhere.

Would you rather have "***** of steel" or "***** of aluminum?"

H2

Hmmmm, I don't think there is any more width to the fender (flare). Based on this picture, the only thing that appears to have changed, is the pitch of the initial flare.

From what I can see (not a very good picture angle as the car on the left is not at the same visual angle as with the right.), both cars have 8" front wheels. The wheel on the right car, is outside of the acceptable engineering parameters for most Porsche cars(or cars in general for that matter). The car on the left shows the optimum fender cover for the wheel. If you look at the picture carefully, there is no more "flare" to either car.The pitch as mentioned, is less for the car on the left providing more overhead coverage. The car on the right appears to have the normal pitch with a steeper angle giving less fender cover. Very hard to tell just by looking at this picture. Rear GTS flares are only 1" greater than an S4. You can see what a difference that makes. Therefore, I find it hard to see any more flaring. I marked the photo to show what I see. Anyone think the same way...or differently?

NOTE:, I am assuming this picture is a comparison.
