Looks like I'll have to get the intank pump and filter out as well, give it clean as well.
Is enthynol a good cleaner of fuel systems, I mean does it dislodge the scum of a 26 year old fuel system?
I think thats whats happened, and now all that scum is travelling down the lines into the filters and orifices. I put some fuel system cleaner in the tank this morning, I'll keep doing this for some time i reckon.

Ethanol soaks up water, not a good idea IMHO. Drop the tank, clean it properly with a pressure washer, put it back. Mine was ABSOLUTELY filthy inside after 10 years is Saudi, but as long as the dirt wasnt disturbed it didnt go anywhere.

+1. My car had been sitting for 5 years before I bought it. The WUR got clogged within a few weeks of driving and the whole system seemed to be starved until I dropped the tank to fix a fuel leak --afterward, she's purred like a kitten.
