Default hvac control unit

I have a question about that hvac vacume actuators behind the dash, the module with the vacume lines attached to it. Is that supposed to get hot to the touch?

it might get hot if the heat is turned on and the floor mode has been blowing towards the floor. I think you need to include more info, do a search, you can test the system then find out if any of the vacuum pots are leaking

I think the electric solenoids that activate the vacuum lines at the manifold would indeed get hot to the touch.
