Default WTB or trade - mint original warranty book for 1978 928

One of the items my 78 did not come with is the red warranty book. I found one on eBay a year or so ago and while its in pretty good condition its not mint like the car.

Does anyone have a mint original they would be willing to trade for the one I bought (some of the plastic on one of the covers is peeling) or sell it to me. The book cannot have any identifying numbers for another car or service stamps. Anyone willing to help?

I would imagine froggy didn't have too many service records with only 12?? miles when you got it! There is a seller on ebay that I've got lots of items from, all nice...but not really concours condition....like I know you are looking for....

Hi Brian, You're correct. It actually had none but, I do have the original registration card and window sticker (I'm pretty confident there was little or no service work done). It did have the injectors cleaned at a Porsche shop in NH and that's about it. Not only did it have the original tires, it had the original timing belt. Probably one of the oldest timing belts still in tact and in operation at ~26 years old.

Damn, I so love Froggy! The color and interior are awesome, and those phone-dials! I have all my original 1978 glovebox goodies but they have the same milage as the car. Sorry dude. I'll try to look around and let you know if I come up with anything.

I have one, but it has the stamps and the vin from my early 78. PLus, as you mentioned, the plastic is pealing.

I'd say A needle in Kansas.
