They're 7". I removed my aluminum bumpers, so I made a frame for them, but they would fit with the bumper installed.

Ken your amazing..very cool

Idea....
, design a way i can litterally unplug my front wipers from there "sockets" when i dont need them..for the 360 days of the year here i dont!
Here's a full wiper delete on your car. Cleans it up and gets rid of a BUNCH of windnoise inside i bet!

Oh yeah, and saves appx 6lbs to keep things on topic

3414lbs. Right front corner was 900 lbs (heaviest corner) and left rear was 750lbs (lightest corner). I had all of the floor mats and standard stuff in the car. The only change was the H-pipes, RMB and no spare tire.

Did you gut your car? How did you get the heaviest 928 to near-race weight?

Helium in the tires.
I just drove over the scales at the recycle center, which are certified for buying scrap, and subtracted me.

Then I think it is highly unlikely with no mods that you're at 3280.

Scale 3510
Me 230
Car 3280 with a 1/4 tank. Are you sure you aren't confused, this is a 1983 US 928S 5 spd, only normal thing not in the car is the air compressor and jack, Bosch battery looks small to me, but its the right one. Has AC, but no freon, and I always have some amount of junk with me, maybe 10 lbs. I don't think my seats are special, driver is 3x switch power, manual passenger, 75 cents in coin holder, no front belly pan.

Scale says what it says.

Yeah - Ken says "Chicks Dig It" but have you noticed all the Elk around Ken's place?

Speaking of Ken - Weather's getting warmer, seeing a little sunshine, maybe the next time you guys find yourselves on a drive - you can swing by and we can have a little barbeque and 928 weight reduction party.

Track car was down to 2650, but has gotten "fat" over the past year with all the new stuff.
No fuel, but w/ 5 gallons of oil =2710lbs
