Default Lifter value question?

Hey guys,
I have 10 lifters here - I was told from a 928. No idea of the mileage, 5 are pretty stiff and 5 are not. They dont look like the ones used on my 951 so I figured I would double check.

I took some parts off of a friend as he was moving (believe he bought some for his 951 and these showed up instead.) I didnt want to see him just toss them out - anyone here interested or should I just toss them on ebay?

Thanks,
Sam

If the lifters are 35mm dia, 25mm long and the plunger is 7mm in then they could be 928 lifters. they could also be VW lifters. They should say INA on them otherwise they're of questionable origin. Don't plan on making the big bucks. I would be a possibilty to buy something like those for spares to modify but wouldn't pay for them because of the mystery, you can buy new VW INA lifters really cheap, $10 IIRC.

Hi Sam,

I'm no help on value but have two questions:

Do they have a part number?

What's the length difference between extended as if pumped up and compressed?

Any help apreciated.
