And you're very welcome. It's not everyday that someone builds a monster engine like this. Especially with so many custom made parts and also having done it all themselves. Mike has inspired us all.

The impressive part to me is that the cam doesn't have ridiculous lift: 0.500". Two valve 7L engines making that sort of power are in the high 0.600s to get there with bad (or good depending on how you hear it) idle quality. Very impressive stuff. The flywheel/clutch is my favorite part. It's gorgeous.

There are at least a couple of other 928 engines in Wisconsin that have made more, both boosted and normally aspirated. Of all the ones that I've heard of anywhere, this one is currently #2 of the normally aspirated engines.

Very impressive, no doubt. But what about the NSX.
600rwhp, out of a 3.2 liter. 187hp/liter assuming 15% drive trainloss for 702hp, thats 220hp/liter
Sure, its a turbo, but its running and not breaking after over a full season of racing! (double stinting two classes this season) However, it has busted a axle so far this season.

I was just checking out the dyno. WOW! 640rwhp and 500ftlbs of torque. Looks good, and shouldnt beat up the transmission that much, although anderson has 450rwt and has busted 5th gear and 3rd a couple of times. . shift carefully, match engine speeds and you should be good to go.
How did you design the pedals. looks perfect for some heal toe action. stock pedals are terrible for that, as you have to do some contorting foot action to get proper downshifts.
why 7500rpm? why not 8200rpm. that curve is just starting to peak out at 7500rpm.
amazing you get that kind of pwer with only oversized intake valves, NO change in exhaust valves (?), and some pretty mild compression (with 1/2" lift cams ). looks like the intake is the main obstical for us.
So, what would your best guess for hp be if you put all that fancy stuff on a bone stock S4 head and GTcam? (with the 7 liter bottom end).
