Why stop at 360 degrees? I mean, what if I have a MONDO supercharger, and I want 361 degrees of retardation???? I'd like to advance my timing 361 degrees in the interim before I get my quadruple Cummins Diesel Turbos that Greg Browne will be installing for me. i bought them from Marc Andersen ... I gotta say, that Jim Baylie is such a hoot, an MAN does that guy drool chocolate milkshake from his nose like a pro!!!!! Hey Jimbo Buddy, how's da dawgs!!

Awesome. I can't wait to try it out.
Is there any Rennlist knowledge out there on what settings to try on an '87 S4 5speed with Authority chips?? I don't really want to rent the dyno time... but I will if I have too.

Yeah hopefully Ken can give us all places to start for optimum torque or HP or whatever. I would love to know what works best for a GT?
I am also curious if its worthwile to advance or retard the intake cam independant of the exhaust by either jumping the cam a link or two. Is there any benefit in changing the timing between the intake and exhaust cams or are they pretty much on target as is?

Fabio,
The 16V is a con-version, which allows you to install 32V HTD gears. I'm going to make a few kits; no changes from the original design. Expect a price of around $140.
...
Gio,
I'm going to have a few extra 32V'rs made (rounding up to the next 10), but the price will be higher for the 'spec' units.

Ken,
Are you going to have the 16v kits fabbed the same time as the new 32v kits?
I thought stock cam timing was R:0 degree/L: 0 degree
That is what my S4 was when I checked it using the old 32v version.
BTW, do you have my old kit ready to ship back, or are you still using it for testing?
Is R:-1/L:0 for the '86 32v?

Mike,
Yes. (5 kits)
0° | 0° when measured with engine at operating temp.
Yes, will ship (w/alignment bar, gratis).
AFAIK, all 32V, ±1°.
