air cleaner, top housing clearance problem! The old one was dry rotted and cracked, got a new one (used, but in good shape), and it doesn't quite fit around the top of engine plumbing! What gives? It's an 86.5 engine, and the old and new part numbers are identical, and the unit itself looks to be the same. Anyone else have this problem with clearance? It's at the elbows...so much for simple jobs!

 

Got any pix? Maybe the engine plumbing was moved around. Maybe the replacement is partially melted and deformed... A pic is worth 1,000 words...
