Default Wanted factory radio

I need a factory Blaupunkt stereo for a 1980 928. I would prefer one that does not have the external amp, it does'nt need to be a 1980 model just stock looking. Plugs for the power and speakers would be a bonus. Also working or not ok.

Any idea what model that might be, what sort of tubes it uses?

My 83 has a Blaupunkt cassette, CR-2010, no idea about the cassette part, but radio works and is coming out sometime in the next month. Maybe I will test it with my Kermit greatest hits tape later today.

I just removed a complete set of factory Blaupunkt speakers, radio, amp, harness-all intact and working, from my 87, with the speakers and harness and plugs. It was working great, I elected to upgrade to a current Blaupunkt because this didn't play CD's, but it has the external amp. I also have a Blaupunkt from my 944 that doesn't have the external amp, when I get home I'll check the dimensions to see if it will fit. PM me if your interested.Ed M

I may have one from a 1980 Euro model. They don't use quite the same range of frequencies we do, so you can't tune past 104.ish Mhz. Sounds like you may only be using the radio for looks, so if that doesn't matter, PM me if you're interested. I think I know where it is at...
