Its safe to say 2006 was a great year for 928 innovations!! We are lucky to have so many talented people improving the greatest car of all time!! 2007 should be just as good, with Todds monster engines, Kuhns TT system, probably a new speed record (220+mph) & more!!

Ask Kibort if the Holbert is fat & lazy.

If we initiate a 'plaque' in 2007 perhaps we list as basis thereon
Maybe these ~dozen names (DR, Carl, Mark, Murf, Bill, Ken, Louie....)
who exemplify the standard of performance to which posterity
must aspire for 928 Excellence.

G'luck all.

I think Paul Champagne and Rob Budd definitely deserve strong mention for reviving the 928 interior ... I was here when there were NO OPTIONS and I bought brand new factory leather dash. pod, console .....

Many have contributed, why pick one, drink one in honor of each of them.

Let's not forget Sterling Gee and his Variocam retrofit. To me this has little value at this time to anyone but Sterling but I give him honour for perhaps the most difficult single 928 development in the history of the car.

heinrich what about kuhn... i mean just because he behaved like a queer bitch in lists in the late days on this forum here , doesn't mean he's not genius and needs not to be aknowledged for that

CeeDee I saw his work and it is good but I see it this way: Caompared to others what has he done for the average 928 owner? Look at Porken and Champagne and such. Will you ever benefit from Kuhn's work?

i understand what you're saying, but how much would i be able to benefit from pauls ingenious work, for instance. it's an issue of magnitude and kuhn (and i know it's delicate to talk about him...) he's got a big chunk of the 928 weight on his side. no offence to paul or anyone here, by no means
