I'm 48 today!!! Bought my GT going on 7 years ago when I was 41.
Beautiful wife, 3 daughters, 4 grandkids (way too young to be a grandpa), 3 Newfoundland dogs...
It's funny though, in my mind, I still see myself in my 20's... OK, late 20's.

Let's see. Had a drivers license when gas was .15 cents a gallon, there was one cop every 100 miles or so, the only safety device in a car was in your wallet, if it was made in America I've driven it or owned it, and a few from across the pond and the far east too. Most cars had split windshields, a turn signal was on the end of your arm, and the only way to lay rubber was to date a girl from Brazil. The cars I have enjoyed the most are 70 Vet LT-1, Renault 15 and 928-S P-car. I now own and proudly maintain a Medicomp III.

Hi,
wow I'm nearly 68!
I got my car licence at 15 (in NZ) and heavy truck licence at 18! My first car at 15 was a 1934 Singer Le-Mans sports (worth a small fortune today) that my Mother bought me
I've owned 67 cars and more Benzes (8, including a 230SL over 35 years ago) than any other
Then 8 Mitsubishis, 6 Fords, 5 VWs, and etc.
I've been fortunate to have driven in most of Europe (including most of the old Eastern Bloc and Russia 1962 thru 1968, and Scandinavia. I loved driving in America and Canada both East to West and up and down the East and West Coasts on many visits. And all around OZ and NZ too of course
I've hit six animals (cow, pig and four kangaroos) and recieved about ten speeding tickets
The most intimidating incident was being stopped in 1968 by the East German police on a lonely country road about midnight! They maintained that I was driving on the wrong side of the road. Using Kalashnikovs as "persuaders" they demanded 50 US Dollars on the spot (I was in my Danish registed car, a FIAT 850 Coupe). They had a Trabant! They did not know I spoke German and after they found out and after a "tussle" they threw our NZ Passports back into the car and let us go!
Cold War days!
My two 928s over the last several years have been a real pleasure - and my MY89 928S4 still gives me more pleasure to drive than my MY06 CLK! It still does 240kmh with ease (usually each week or so around the cane fields) we just need to be aware of kangaroos here!
Regards

A few years ago, a fellow I know confided in an older friend that he thought that maybe his fiance was too young (he was late-30's, she was 19). The old man chuckled; "don't worry, she'll get older".

I had my S4 in October of 2000, which would have made me 23. I had a 924S before that, at about 22. Now, at 29, after a few months of trying out the competition, I will redouble into the 928 world for a time.
