87 5 speed on Ebay with a buy it now of $11,789
#17
I guess my question would be, if your genuinely interested in what appears to be a great deal, and has already proven to have a clean Carfax, then why haven't any of you talked to the actual seller by now, had all of your questions and concerns answered and then hit the BIN?
I make a great side income from deals just like this one. The more time you spend thinking, talking and questioning it's authenticity, the smarter the seller is becoming with every minute that passes by. Believe me, I'm sure he's already getting calls and e-mails from non-buyers telling him he's crazy for selling to low.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is make up your mind quickly if your really interested in this car. If, after speaking with the seller, your convinced it's worth the very small $$$ risk, then you'd better buy it now at that price, or don't end up complaining about it later when someone else actual does make, what appears to be, the right decision!
Just a helpful FYI, that's all. And no, I have absolutely NO affiliation with the seller

I think you guys are missing out on a great deal here, while arguing about irrelevant things that don't mean a damn thing!

Sounds like a great deal.....unless of course it needs torque tube, motor mounts, shocks and springs, synchros, TB/WP, myriad electrical gremlins, new interior etc etc etc. Todd, you need to make your decision and assume the rest of us have the intelligence to make our own.

And let's see here, the last 29,000 mile automatic S4 I bought had just had the torque tube replaced, and the motor mounts were already shot as well. About a year ago, a '91 GT I bought with 26,000 miles was in severe need of motor mounts as well.
All of these cars need something if they're used, but at a certain price, it's worth the gamble in my mind, regardless. But your intelligent enough to have already know that, I'm sure.
At $11,000, I'd personally still take it needing a new T belt, motor mounts, shocks, springs and an entire clutch assembly, including syncro's. Thereagain, you can make your own intelligent decision.

Looks like he took the pics with a 0.1 megapixel camera....Kinda hard to tell much. In those (CRAPPY) pics - looks like the exhaust isn't exactly original! (Probably a good thing!)

It goes away automatically once the reserve is met. If there is no reserve, the very first bid makes it go away. If there is a reserve, the BIN stays in place until the reserve is met regardless of how many bids there are. On a reserve type auction, it only goes away once someone uses it or places a bid that meets or exceeds the reserve. Unless, of course, the seller chooses to remove it by revising the item.

I think I'll wait until February to sell my '89 GT. I'd hate to get offered only $15K for it, because I'd just have to turn it down and waste money on advertising in the process............................

But on a positive note, for all those worried about falling values on the 928, I come baring great news. My good friend Michael Willhoit just sold that '93 red over tan GTS with only 27,000 miles on it for $47,500 today. If you remember correctly, it was for sale about a week or two ago at a dealership on the east coast for $24,500.
Now, I know this had to be a joke, but it was rumored that a Rennlister actually had a deposit on that same exact car, but pulled out on it for character reasons over a $300 shipping dispute. I know that's just a rumor, because no one would actually be that stupid, would they?
Anyway, let's give a big attaboy to Mr. Willhoit for bringing those prices back up to where they should be!
