Default Leather armrest and back console

Hello all,

I have not posted in a while and some of you are emailing to see if I'm still alive
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your fantastic support, business is almost too good, as I find myself busier than I ever anticipated.

Here are a few new parts form a recent full interior I completed over the Holidays:

One part that is surprisingly intricate when you want to do it right is the 928 armrest. There are a lot of tight radius corners that are not easy to French seam properly:

I used the opportunity to finally do the integrated armrest pad I talked about in another thread. This one is detailed with a matching piping, and I will also offer a version with a French seam detail.
I am also working on a kit that you will be able to install on your existing armrest.

Lastly, here is a new style of door insert with a piping detail that I came up with:

I have a few more pictures of these parts on my website.

Thanks again

Paul

That is just crazy! Every time I see you post pics I want to gut my entire interior and start over. Wonder what it would cost to recover everything.....hmmmm.

The stitching is absolutely amazing.

Just out of curiosity, have you had any feedback from customers who have had yoiur pieces for a while? How is the leather, stitching and glue holding up? Have you made any changes to the way you assemble everything?

Leather armrest really nice.
The plastic just doesn't feel right whenever I reach for something in the door storage bin.
Got any mini-leather condom planned for that "keep falling off" storage bin release ****?

Paul: You may not have been on Rennlist, but it is apparent that you have been busy none the less .Beautifull work. My armrests suck, and having to see Brians does not make things better.I'm going to have to send em to you one of these days. It's just that I have the 78' tore up already and I don't want to have both of them tore up at the same time so the 87' is on the back burner for now. Soon

Wow Paul, you keep raising the bar. B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l work, you've got the gift. Can't wait to see Sterlings interior when he gets it back.

Paul
Stunnning as usual......I keep looking (and touching) my center armrest...then look at the door armrest & really hate it.....so new leather doors is now on my list.....that and the 1/4 panels in the back..... I have an idea....make a Paul Champagne credit card!! with a 1% rebate for future work!! :>)

Glad your putting out such FANTASTIC work, just not putting out work. Keep the mods coming. Your setting the pace for others to follow, and setting the desire for other owners to have your work in their sharks.

I guess I will delay my order of your craftsmanship of my complete interior from January till later in Spring so I can catch anymore interesting and excellent show of craftsmanship work you do. Glad your prices are reasonable too.

Here's to keeping you busy year round.
