Anyone know where I can get information on the Beru crimping tool. I lucked into a roll of high quality solid core wire, and the Beru screw ends are readily available from a number of sources. However, I'm having trouble finding the Beru tool or equivalent for crimping on the ends. I may drill and solder the ends, but I'd like to go the factory route if possible.
Thanks,
Gary

how do the wires attache to the connectors near the distributor cap? Scot had a wire pull out and it slides in and works, but is that good enough? i would think it would crimp on somehow. anyone know? or, is this one spark plug wire toast now?

The wire I believe screws into the connector "pin" then the shell is crimped to the wire jacket. From what I can see if the connector came off it wasn't properly crimped, maybe take off the connector and if the wire looks ok crimp on a NEW connector, or trim the wire back and crimp on a new connector.
Seems like this place sells everything Beru has, just call them on Monday. San Marcos is just a bit north of San Diego.

That's a good link, thanks. I found the 3mm screw ends at a number of sites. Here's one of them: http://replacement.autopartswarehous...ector&dp=false
I've seen them for as low as $1/per end, but I'm having trouble finding that price right now.
