I'm on pins and needles waiting for our year end results. We are so close to achieving our goals it's not funny, but I no one can tell for sure.

Our financials won't be released until probably 10/22. If all goes well, I'll be calling Paul Champagne real soon.

I got the opposite news- County revenues are down so I'm on the chopping block for reduction in hours that will slam me in the order of +/- $25K next year. Which takes me out of the realm of affording to live, so I'm obviously job hunting and hoping to avoid a shark (and everything else) sale.

What's a bonus? - The same question I had until a few hours ago when the Pres. called and said I had earned a fat one for last year. As far back as I can remember (50 some years) I've never received one. Oh what a feeling.

Rumor has it that there's no bonus this year, but they say that every year so that the expectations are $0, but then they come up with a small bonus so everyone feels happy eventhough they really got screwed.

I've been out of sales for about a decade. Those were the days, when the bonus would exceed your salary. I need to find a company that will allow me to run it into the ground, so I can get a nice $200million golden parachute like the outgoing CEO at Home Depot.

I've decided those types of bonuses and parachutes require ongoing sexual favors without the benefit of gender choise. Now I don't feel as jealous.
