Thanks, but I hate bavauto - won't do business with them. They screwed me a couple times on parts orders for my BMW.

$3.45 from this place in San Diego
http://store.interautopartssd.com/in...&products_id=4

No clue on if its two different products, Lubro or Liqui, but San Diego place is Liqui Moly.

Jectron I think is different from Ventil Sauber, sellers of both "brand" have like 20 kinds of goop.

Jectron cleans injectors, Ventil Sauber is an (exhaust) valve cleaner.

If it hasn't helped you have some other issue causing a lean condition. This could be due to a clogged fuel filter, or more likely, a failing in-tank fuel pump.

The Lubri Moly stuff did help greatly to eliminate the pinging on my GTS.
I'll post the company info later, it's at my shop.

Your recommendation is what prompted me to try Ventil Sauber, which I appreciate, but there's obviously something else going on with my car.

Checking fuel pumps and filter is on my list of work to do this winter.

Same difference. It's one company. BMW owners love the Lubro/LiquiMoly products, especially the racing oils.

OK, thanks. I'll probably run down there next week and get a case - the 740 could use a shot too.
