Tampa 928s,
Mr. Kempf sends his apologies. His production crew messed up on the printing.
928 Specialists web site has a timing belt write-up if you haven't seen it.
httt:/www.928gt.com/

It's under 928 Tips/Links, Wally World(928 tips).

And have a smooth timing belt event.

Ernest (NYC) Dumped the gunk out of my air filter today and out of habit shone a light down the 2 timing belt cover ventholes to see how the belt's doing.

You seem to be doing a crap load of work on your car. I know who to call when I start tearing into my Money Pit.
Hmmmm, lets see whats on the adjenda.....
Upper Ball Joints,
Lower Ball Joints,
Steering Rack,
Tranny Front Seal,
U Joint,
Check Torque Tube
Check Water Pump,
Check Timing Belt,

I wonder if I can get a SSN for my car and claim it as a dependent on my taxes.

upper ball joints i don't know much about
but there is a lower ball joint replacement kit.
on the steering rack, i will call stan again... i think i gave you a wrong price on it
he wanted 150 for his...
i got the hubs from him and it even came with spindle and slotted, almost new brake disks it had new bearings too, so if you like to have em i give them to yer...(the brarings , that is)
the torque tube
MM
and timing belt are on my agenda...
so maybe we can do that crapp together.
how if we try to get (buy) a descent shark together and hack into it... maybe a late 80's?
on the taxes... hmm i don't know about that bro...i'll ask my fincancial lady

CeeDee,

You know what the defenition of an Expert is? It the guy in the room that knows just a little more than anyone else. Since you've actually done real work on your car, you're a 928 expert compared to me.

When I start replacing hardware I like to buy either rebuilt or new (steering rack), I'd hate to do all that work and in a few months do it all over again. I'm not going to start for a few weeks.

We can get together and do some wrenching. Have your people call my people and we'll do lunch.
Well as soon as I get some people, in the mean while just call when you're ready to tackle those projects.
