John drove 14 hours each way & slept in his truck on the way just to come & race & party with us
Took me 23hours and 58 min. to get home which included a 3.5hr "nap" in the truck.
Great to be there! The FL group is first rate when it comes to supporting us racers.
Sorry I didn't get to meet more of the 928'ers that were there. It just became a real busy getting ready for the race.
I'll write up a recap of the weekend and all my challenges along the way.

What a fantastic weekend. First off I need to thank Constantine and the entire Florida 928 crowd. I have not met a more enthusiastic and supportive group of people. They were amazing. From the moment my plane landed I had a 928 person making my trip wonderful.
Constantine’s car was really great. I have never driven someone else’s track 928 that was so close to being perfect right from the start. His attention to detail is amazing. The car was so clean it was almost a shame to drive it. We only made a few minor adjustments to it all weekend. Even with its stock motor we were quite competitive. I was proud to fly the 928 flag high and join John V and David L on the track.
Let’s try to do this again.

A few pics from the 3 day event. It was great to see some old friends and meet some new ones. A special thanks to George and Claudia V. and George and Doreen A. whose hospitality made our trip so enjoyable. And to Mel and Pamela for the promotion and T-shirts. Oh, I can't forget David Lloyd and Mike ? for their help with my fuel pump relay Saturday night. Hell, everyone there was just so damned nice, it would be worth the drive even if there weren't any Porsches to enjoy. We hope we can be there again next year along with a few more Georgia enthusiasts.
The first two pics are from the drive down with Sherri aka Mrs. Ed MD.

Here's two of my favorites.
A pic of David Lloyd during his winning stint in the Sunday Enduro as he passed beneath the Sebring sign.
Another of David Lloyd, John Veninger & Mark Anderson relaxing Sat. night.

The Suncoast PCA printed a picture of our 928 gathering in the last newsletter. Check it out on page 14. http://sfl.pca.org/Profile/Porsche%20March.pdf

Hey thats pretty cool! And my local PCA didnt even respond to my written suggestion they mention our group in their coverage of the event! Even forwarded the email with info & pics that was requested by the Pano PCA rep. At least Suncoast & the national PCA rep thought it was worthy of some recognition!

Nice find Fabio! That picture and many more were taken by a good friend of mine who is turning pro as a track photog.
Man, I miss that car...
Glad it went to a righteous man who has already put a lot of work into it and it lives again! Can't wait to see it at Rennsport Reunion next week and then hear about it's exploits at tracks in the Southeast.
Hope JV can get that silver beast together for another class winning round at the 48 Hours of Sebring this coming Feb! JV got a 1st Place in the GT2S category last year, the first 928 to ever do that at the 48 Hours of Sebring club races!
