Mel,

I expect to see your 928 at Sebring. Putting on an intake is such a simple, one weekend task

Tonight, I joined the PCA after a 5 year absence.

The last time I was a PCA member, in 1999, I was treated to some silent derision due to the fact that I showed up at the meeting at the Porsche dealership in a 928. Ron Zitza, president of the Citrus chapter at the time tried his best to introduce me and smooth things over, but the locals didn't seem to be interested. I never went back.

Well, perhaps this chapter will be better. I'm going to try to make this event at Sebring- I might even bring a tent this time and camp out, but nothings' for sure since I'm at the whims of my company's training department.

Sucks! Figures this would happen to me. Erik Scharinger is coming to town and the Shark Shiver is happening during the one month this year when I won't have any control whatsoever regarding my schedule!

N!

Well, hopefully between this coming weekend & the next & will have it all buttoned back up again. Sending the injectors out to be serviced this week. Have to get the U shaped gas hose built with the couplings, & a few other parts. Will get a quote on powdercoating the intakes this week too, depends on the cost if I do that or not, though I do want to of course. Would have preferred this not all being on such a tight schedule right before Sebring, but you can't ignore a strong gas smell from under the hood!

Default T-SHIRTS FOR SEBRING SHARK SHIVER

Ok, I'm sending out a mass email to our Florida 928ers regarding this, but you guys coming from Georgia who are coming to visit us can get in on this too.

We will have a T-shirt availble for our event at a cost of about $10. Its a basic design, but I think it'll look sharp. If you want one, you can pm me or even reply here, just tell me how many & what sizes. I have to place the order by Thursday so its down to the wire! I'm trying to avoid ending up with leftovers in sizes no one wants and people wanting one in a size we ran out of! Most will be either large or extra large.

edit: I attached the preliminary image I have of the front & back of the shirts, but the image will not read correctly. I'll try to get one that does.

Thanks Mel, I'll take one each of X-large, large, medium and small. That should cover all of the bases. My daughter was pretty bummed when they didn't have any left to fit her at Octoberfast. Hopefully this will make her .

I might be able to make it, but without the 928, depends on if my buddy wants to drive his car.
